Just some stuff that I've been working on as of late in media arts, and am not working on at the moment since I left my tablet at home :(

I'll suffer one day in media arts instead of dragging home my backpack, my swim bag, AND my tablet in a box on the public transit. 

The weather is cold and depressing, and I'm starving and tired.  

I CAN NOT wait until wednesday. 

For one, it's a half day, and for the other, i get to see ;D again. 

TKD was remarkably easy yesterday, and I have no idea if I'm going to end up going to the tournament or not D:

It's tempting, but I don't want to go alone. 

Am I willing to get my ass kicked for experience? 

I don't know.

I kind of want to go just to watch the first time, to see how it's done.

(the potential to be) the greatest day ever

Here's a random screencap of Alex's and mine webcast type thing that we tend to do in media arts (I typed math there at first and I'm not sure why. I must be tired)

Yesterday was like the greatest day in the past month.

First of all the swim meet was yesterday, my school was hosting, so we were on home turf. And had the advantage. My god it was crazy

I did 5 events. I'm insane.

- 200m Medley Relay (swam freestyle)

- 50m Freestyle (43 seconds -_-) 

- 50m Butterfly (ABSOLUTE FAIL. Not even telling you my time for this)

- 200m Freestyle Relay (one of our worst times as of yet, but I blame the niners)

- 100m Freestyle

For my 100m Freestyle, I was SO HAPPY. 

It was my last event, and I felt kind of sick, and I was focused more on finishing it, not on actually winning.

My start was good, so I was proud of myself, and I started off at warm-up speed, just kind in a state of nirvana, since this is my favourite event.

on the way back to the wall, after the first 25m I noticed that I was ahead of two people, so I'm like, "Okay, you know what, I'm going to try".

I managed to do okay on my first two flip turns, and then for my last one, IT WAS AMAZING. For me anyways. My flip turns have always been more like an act of dumb luck than actual skill.

but for my last 25m, I like SHOT off of the wall. 

and passed two people last second and made it in 3rd place!!

Out of the 8 people that were in my heat. 

I CUT 5 SECONDS OFF MY BEST TIME FROM LAST YEAR.

I went from a 1:42 to a 1:37!!!

And TKD was easy, since it snowed for the first time yesterday, i guess most people didn't bother to show up. 

There were a grand total of five of us. 

And we did like.....half a pyramid not even, and we sparred for the rest of the day. I guess that was fun, except for the last fight wasn't even a fight, I lost so badly D:>

And I get the feeling that he wasn't even trying. 

which is just depressing.

So I can still talk even though I spent most of yesterday yelling,

And I am not sore! Only 3 new bruises!

BCM not quite update.

Halloween costumes for Mai, Alex, Natasha, Mo and Katie.

I feel kind of sick, in a nauseous kind of way, and I occasionally feel a stabbing pain as though someone gouged a knife into my ribs. 

And trust me, that is not fun.

On the bright side, TKD today!

All I have to do is suffer through school for a bit, and everything will be right again. 

Painful, but right. 

Apparently all of this week we're focusing on flexibility. *cries in a corner* Dude that is so not fun. AT ALL .

Yesterday was somewhat of an off day for me, all things considered. 

I got to sleep in as long as I wanted, and I was all warm and cozy and nice, but I inevitably woke up.

And my mom tells me that my grandpa got out of the hospital yesterday, and apparently, he's been there for the past month.

AND NOBODY BOTHERED TO TELL ME.

I was angry at the whole world and everyone who inhabits it, decided that I was a pretty shitty human being and the like, and pretty much stayed an angsty emo kid all day.

I am updating my blog in media arts instead of actually working on a ghey Mardi Gras poster that the teacher wants us yo do if we're done.

Well the media arts project is over, so like yaaaaaaaaaaaay?

seriously. 

I thought I'd drop dead before I got to the weekend. 

So I just finished writing the math test, and I think I did okay.  

In a strange "I probably failed regardless of the fact that I tried to study" type of way. I'm joking of course, I doubt I'd actually fail, considering how much of a nerd I really am. 

Yesterday, my parents dropped me off at TKD early. so I took my math review sheets with me to check if I actually know anything.

Most of the adults were there yesterday, and although I knew they meant well, they were no help at all when it came to multi-stage factoring.

Master Park of course insisted that he could do this in his sleep, and well lucky him.

And my god, I mean, I knew CJ was a stunt person for a while, but she has her own demo reel on youtube!

And that's like wow.

I was lying on my stomach for like a good half hour, got stepped on twice, made someone trip, stabbed myself with my pencil accidentally, and threw my pencil at Jun. But hey, he stepped on me. 

He was so asking for it.

We finished class a few minutes early, so I was talking to Jun and Sinthu about well random crap as per usual.  

In other news,

My abstract painting looks horrible, but I guess that it's abstract and that's what counts.

We're not even allowed to do something like "USE COLOUR TO MAKE AN AWESOME-TASTIC ACRYLIC PAINTING ABOUT YOU FEEL ABOUT CHEESE". It has to be an abstract representation of something

So I'm abstracting a surrealism-type marker drawing that I made a few weeks ago.

I missed the deadline for our juried art show at school because I'm a lazy bum..

hahahahah you'd think that I would spend more time talking about TKD when it's pretty much taken over my life lately.
So lately Wednesdays and Fridays are hell on earth.

This one kid in my class, (not mentioning names in case they decide to drop by my blog) MY GOD HE IS DRIVING ME UP THE WALL WITH HIS "COOLER THAN THOU" ATTITUDE.
but he so got what was coming to him this Wednesday I think it was? It might have been last week. But that made my life. seriously.

After this Friday we did so many squats that I felt my knees give out. It made me feel old.

And when you feel 60 years old when you're a teenager, that can never lead to any good.

I want to upload this epically awesome video that me and Alex made in Media arts (more like a webcast really) but Blogger won't let me, and that makes me sad XD
But on the bright side, the fact that the Imac monitor has a built in webcam, that is so epic awesome on so many levels. So my violent hate for macs has become somewhat less violent.

Friday's stretching was........omg even thinking about it makes me want to crawl into a corner and breathe loudly chanting "Happy place".
On the bright side?
I can do butterfly again.
On the not-so-bright side?
We did the bar stretch.

*shudder*

Even though Amy did it first, and she was tolding on to my shoulders so hard that it hurt, but it's Amy. I forgive her.
Okay while I was actually holding on to the bar it was fine.
When I had to let go of the bar, it was alright, I was holding on to Amy's shoulders.
Then the master moves my foot over to the side, and my foot of course slides not an inch, but a good 30 cm.
I kind of just fell forward and stopped breathing for a second.
I think I was still in shock.
Because I didn't feel any pain after the first stab of it.
And all I could hear is Amy first laughing, then going "....hey are you okay?"
And I tried to talk, but couldn't. so I just shook my head, and the master told me to get up, even though what he meant was to get my upper body vertical.
I just shook my head again, so he just grabbed my shoulders and FORCED me up.
I swear to god I hope that I left nail marks in his arms.

But yeah. fun stuff.

For once I have no homework to do this weekend.

TKD test update. and you know, life in general.

Yet Regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them...it matters not. 

Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world, they became everything to you.

- A chain letter that Sooah sent to me. 

OH-KAY. 

So. 

This is what happened at my TKD belt test yesterday.

Around last period, which is math, i felt like I was going to be sick. Seriously. Had to go to the washroom, walk around and calm down. 

I was so nervous. 

But then I started doing the stupid mixture equations, and was too distracted and frustrated to think about it too much. 

I went home, ate, and felt fine. 

Out TKD teacher told us to come early so we could stretch and warm up and all that stuff. 

So the test, which started at 6 pm, I showed up at 5:30 pm.

And I felt nervous all over again.

And made the mistake of talking to Michael before the test. 

And note to self, that's the worst idea ever. 

I think he might have been attempting to calm me down. didn't work. only threw me into full-blown panic mode. 

So I was working on my 4th pattern, and my failure of a side kick, and I had a teacher all to myself, since nobody of my belt colour had bothered to show up that early. 

and the conversation went something like this:

me: "So, what else do I have to do for the test?"

"Just sparring"

"Craaaaaaaaaap. Who am I sparring?"

"me"

"............WHAT?!?!?!?! D:>"

And then he just laughed, and said "It's okay, I'll go easy on you"

Frick. 

As if that helps. 

Fast forward to me hyperventilating in a corner. 

I got the apparently reassuring pat on the shoulder repeatedly from just about everyone, and I of course almost fell over. 

Cause I'm a klutz and was panicking. 

Then Alex showed up with his sister. 

I felt a little bit better, I was so happy to see him considering that the last time had been somewhere in August?

And then Sooah showed up, followed by a mini-mob of my friends. 

XD

And holy shit I felt so much better when I saw them all. 

somewhat more calm. 

I think I was panicking because Amy wasn't there for the first time. She would have slapped some sense into me. 

Thank God for Amy. 

At least she was there in spirit.

And I didn't end up having to spar full-contact. 

So I was like SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME HYPERTASTIC HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

Okay I think I'm like going through withdrawal symptoms or something. 

I feel weird and nervous if I don't get my daily dose of...him. 

Not nauseous necessarily, but the kind of stomach clenching nervous that I get right before saying a speech or right before waiting for my heat to be called up in a swim meet. 

But as soon as I'm back, it's all good again. 

LOL. 

Wtf Lenny. wtf. 

stupid stupid stupid.

The world hates me. 

seriously. 

My comp won't let me access DA from my home computer. 

Stupid decrepit Windows 98.

All I have done is the background, leaving me nothing to do considering the fact that I can't get the pressure sensitivity/pen pressure to work on this iMac. I hate Macs.

On the other hand it's Amy's birthday today. 

I wish her much love and happiness. Or at least lots of lulz. 

And on a slightly less angry and more depressed note, the band is pretty much in the toilet. 

We ended up in the type of situation everyone promised never to get into. 

I'm probably going to have to end up having to choose sides in an argument that I really don't want to be a part of. 

Fuck teenage drama and it's hormones. 

And I was actually kinda looking forward to being in a band. 

I've been moping around fanfiction.net lately and there's like nothing worth reading. AT ALL. 

It seems like I've already been through absolutely everything that's ever been good on the internet.

Ok, so.

Nothing really important going on except for the fact that I am going to faaaaaaaaaaaail Civics, considering that I haven't even written my speech on domestic violence, and it's due next Monday D:

This is so not a good start to a new year. And by "start" I mean of course, the fourth/fifth week of school.

I'm working on a three panel mini-mural because....well....I don't like working HUGE. It just makes all the flaws so much more noticable.

The mini mural is mostly to take attention off of the fact that I just might burst out laughing in the middle of my speech.

I am Ukrainain by heritage. I live in Canada.

Hi Guys, it's me and I'm back to update on the going ons (or lack therof) in my teenage life.

I'm learning German from an online course and it's going pretty bad T-T

But being my odd masochistic self, I will force myself to finish something once I've started.

I must go collect myself some referance photos because my grasp of anatomy is pretty lame when it comes to stuff like this.
